In Disney’s 1959 film, Maleficent curses Princess Aurora to die on her sixteenth birthday by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel’s spindle. When the curse threatens to be nullified, Maleficent lulls the princess with evil magic. Though some of the curse’s power was lifted from death to endless sleep, Maleficent does all in her power to stop anyone who dares to end it—including transforming herself into a dragon!
On the front of this backpack, Maleficent as the iconic dragon comes to life with custom-shaped applique and vibrant colours. Green fire flows from her yellow jaws, creating a wall of flames for the front zipper compartment. Her black scales cover the body of the backpack and on the back, she is seen in her normal form, striking a strong pose among green flames. The backpack even includes glow in the dark features!
